Subaru Solterra reviews

1. EV Motor, Power, and Performance

The Solterra is not only powered entirely by electricity, but it also boasts an all-wheel-drive system with two electric motors. These motors work in tandem to produce an impressive total of 215 horsepower and 249 pound-feet of torque. In terms of drive modes, there are four options: Eco, Normal, Power, and X-mode. The X-mode, specifically designed for slippery or uneven terrains, allows for independent power modulation to each wheel. Off-road enthusiasts will appreciate the Solterra’s 8.3 inches of ground clearance and the “Grip Control” feature that functions like a low-speed cruise control.

The steering wheel paddles provide the flexibility to adjust regenerative braking force. During our drive along Arizona’s ORV trails, the Solterra showcased its capabilities, comfortably tackling various challenges. It even demonstrated its ability to spin donuts on non-paved surfaces by fully deactivating stability control. Additionally, the Solterra can distribute up to 60 percent of its torque to the rear axle.

2. Subaru Solterra Range, Charging, and Battery Life

Subaru announces that the battery pack of the Solterra has a gross capacity of 72.8 kWh. According to their information, models equipped with 18-inch wheels offer a range of 228 miles, while those with 20-inch wheels provide a slightly lower range of 222 miles. By connecting the Solterra to a Level 2 charging station, the onboard 6.6 kWh charger from Subaru is capable of fully recharging the battery in approximately nine hours. Alternatively, utilizing a 100 kW DC fast charger would allow for an 80 percent charge in around 56 minutes.

3. Subaru Solterra Interior

The interior of the Solterra boasts a digital gauge cluster mounted high for easy visibility, complemented by a generous touchscreen for the infotainment system. Adding to the overall appeal, the elevated center console showcases a sleek rotary shift knob. With its steep windshield, expansive side glass, and panoramic sunroof, the cabin exudes a spacious and airy ambiance. The tasteful blend of textures throughout further enhances its captivating aesthetics.

4. Subaru Cargo Space

In addition to its numerous storage compartments, such as the spacious bin beneath the center console, the Solterra proves to be an invaluable travel companion, boasting a generous 30 cubic feet of cargo space when the rear seats are folded flat.

5. Fuel-Economy and Real-World MPGe

The highly anticipated 2023 Solterra is projected to achieve an impressive combined 104 MPGe, as verified by its EPA rating. As soon as we have the chance to take it for a spin on our rigorous 75-mph fuel economy route, a crucial part of our extensive testing process, we will be able to accurately evaluate its real-world MPGe.

6. Infotainment and Connectivity

The Solterra’s infotainment system boasts a centrally positioned 12.3-inch touchscreen. Every model comes equipped with standard features like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a wireless phone charger. Additionally, users can conveniently control the HVAC system, pre-condition the cabin, and perform door lock/unlock functions using the smartphone app. Built-in navigation and an upgraded Harman/Kardon-tuned stereo are available as add-ons.

7. Warranty and Maintenance Coverage

Subaru provides standard warranty coverage, but unlike the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6, they do not offer complimentary scheduled maintenance. Enhancing the writing quality, optimizing word choice, structure, and readability, while preserving the original meaning.

 1. The limited warranty provides coverage for three years or 36,000 miles.
 2. The powertrain warranty covers five years or 60,000 miles
 3. The warranty guarantees coverage for electrical components up to eight years or 100,000 miles, providing you with peace of mind and long-lasting reliability.

8. Safety and Driver-Assistance Features

The Solterra boasts an array of standard driver-assistance technologies, including automatic high-beam headlights and, in a first for Subaru, a top-notch 360-degree camera system. For comprehensive crash test results, please visit the official websites of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). Anticipate notable safety features such as:

 • Standard forward-collision warning and automated emergency braking
 • Standard lane-departure warning and lane-keeping assistance
 • Standard blind-spot monitor
 • Rear cross-traffic alert

Mazda Electric Car MX-30 SUV Reviews: Specs and Pricing 2024 https://itsviraltech.com/mazda-electric-car-mx-30/ https://itsviraltech.com/mazda-electric-car-mx-30/#comments Mon, 23 Oct 2023 11:29:00 +0000 https://itsviraltech.com/?p=981 Mazda Electric Car MX-30 SUV Reviews: Specs and Pricing 2024Read more]]> The 2023 Perfect Mazda Electric Car MX-30’s limited driving range is reminiscent of the early days of the Nissan Leaf. Unfortunately, this hampers the appeal of this stylish crossover. Most of its competitors offer over 200 miles per charge and even outperform the MX-30 in acceleration. However, the Mazda does have its redeeming qualities, including its eco-friendly interior, sleek coupe-like styling, and competitive starting price. In fact, it undercuts rivals like the Kia Niro EV and the Volkswagen ID.4 by approximately $5000.

Although the MX-30 is available only in limited quantities and exclusively in California, it caters to drivers who primarily stay close to home. Nonetheless, the MX-30’s short-lived presence in the expanding market of highly competitive electric vehicles is understandable.

MX 30 features
MX 30 features

Although there are no updates for the Mazda Electric Car MX-30 EV in 2023, Mazda has recently shared that this year will serve as its farewell. Instead, the CX-30 will continue its global presence, now with an R-EV range-extender variant. This new iteration features a rotary engine designed to recharge the battery, ensuring sustained performance.

Mazda Electric Car MX 30 EV Pricing

Starting at $35,485

The MX-30 comes in two trims:

ModelPrice

Base and Premium Plus. Opting for the Premium Plus model brings a wealth of added features, such as active blind-spot assist, front cross-traffic alert, a premium 12-speaker Bose stereo system, a heated steering wheel, a 360-degree exterior camera system, and much more.

Specs of Mazda Electric Car MX 30

EV Motor, Power, and Performance

The MX-30, an all-electric vehicle, is equipped with a single 143-hp electric motor that powers its front wheels. Unfortunately, all-wheel drive capability is not available for the current model. However, it’s worth noting that a plug-in hybrid version is expected to be introduced in the near future. This variant will feature a combination of an electric motor and a rotary gasoline engine, potentially offering the option for all-wheel drive.

Range, Charging, and Battery Life

The Mazda Electric Car 2023 MX-30 features a relatively small 30.0-kWh battery pack compared to other electric vehicles. According to EPA estimates, its driving range per charge is expected to be around 100 miles, which is less than half of what the Bolt and the Kona Electric offer. However, the MX-30’s battery is versatile and can be charged using standard AC power as well as modern and faster DC chargers.

Infotainment and Connectivity

The MX-30 offers a digital panel for climate controls and vehicle settings, complemented by a secondary 8.8-inch dashboard display. This extra screen handles infotainment features like the audio system, navigation, and backup camera. Mazda’s cutting-edge infotainment interface, previously introduced in the 3 sedan and hatchback, provides seamless connectivity with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Mazda electric car 2023
Mazda electric car 2023

Fuel Economy and Real-World MPGe

According to the EPA, the MX-30 achieves a city fuel efficiency of 98 MPGe, a highway efficiency of 85 MPGe, and a combined efficiency of 92 MPGe. In contrast, other electric vehicles like the Hyundai Kona Electric and the Chevrolet Bolt EV boast higher ratings of 120 and 119 MPGe combined, respectively. During our own fuel economy test on a 75-mph highway route, the Mazda Electric Car MX-30 disappointingly returned only 76 MPGe. For detailed information regarding the MX-30’s fuel economy, please refer to the EPA’s official website.

Interior, Comfort, and Cargo

The cabin of the MX-30 boasts a harmonious blend of natural and sustainable materials like cork and breathable fabric upholstery derived from recycled plastic bottles. While there is ample room in the front seats to accommodate two adults comfortably, the rear seat falls short in providing generous headroom and legroom. Keeping up with the trends, the MX-30 features a floating center console that cleverly creates space for storage, concealed behind an innovative digitized screen that controls the car’s climate-control system.

Mazda has thoughtfully equipped the MX-30 with a range of desirable features as standard, including heated front seats, a 7.0-inch digital gauge display, a power sunroof, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. Although the cargo space behind the MX-30’s rear seats is not exceptionally generous, a trip to Costco might warrant folding the rear seats down for more room.

Safety and Driver-Assistance Features

Introducing i-Activsense, a comprehensive package of standard features that offers collision-mitigation and lane-keeping capabilities. These advanced functionalities significantly minimize the chances of accidents. To learn more about the Mazda Electric Car MX-30’s crash test results, visit the websites of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). Noteworthy safety highlights include:

 • Standard automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection
 • Standard lane-departure warning with lane-keeping assist
 • Adaptive cruise control

Warranty and Maintenance Coverage

The 2023 Mazda Electric Car MX-30 EV shares its policies with its fellow stablemates, including the CX-30, CX-5, and CX-9.

 • The limited warranty covers three years or 36,000 miles
 • The powertrain warranty covers five years or 60,000 miles
 • No complimentary scheduled maintenance

2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E Prices, Reviews, and Photos https://itsviraltech.com/2022-ford-mustang-mach-e/ https://itsviraltech.com/2022-ford-mustang-mach-e/#comments Mon, 23 Oct 2023 08:10:27 +0000 https://itsviraltech.com/?p=993 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E Prices, Reviews, and PhotosRead more]]> The name “Mustang” may be misleading to many. In labeling an all-electric, four-door SUV as the Mustang, Ford has made a bold statement. However, when it comes to the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E, it is important to note that, despite sharing part of its name with Ford’s last remaining passenger car, this model differs significantly from the internal combustion engine Mustang. The only commonality between the two lies in their familial appearance.

What’s New for 2022?

Entering its second model year, the 2022 Mustang Mach-E, which earned our inaugural EV of the Year accolade, now boasts a slightly enhanced battery capacity, promising a greater real-world range. The California 1 model has welcomed the addition of all-wheel drive, along with the inclusion of a heated steering wheel and heated front seats as standard features. Moreover, the GT variant now showcases a sleek black-painted roof. Much like its Mustang pony car counterpart, the Mach-E can now be acquired in an exclusive all-white special edition aptly named the Ice White Edition.

2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E
2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E

This captivating appearance package is exclusively available on the Premium trim level and showcases a striking tri-coat Star White metallic paint with Oxford White details, including the 19-inch wheels and exterior badges. Additionally, the vibrant Grabber Blue and Cyber Orange paint colors are now open to other models beyond the GT.

Ford Mustang Mach-E Price

The Ford Mustang Mach-E has an RRP range of £59,380 to £74,540.

Compared to Ford’s standards, the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E carries a rather hefty price tag, starting at around £50,000. In fact, it’s almost as expensive as the iconic V8-engined Mustang Coupe itself(!). However, it’s worth noting that Mach-E falls in line with its competitors in terms of price. Take, for example, the Kia EV6, which is only slightly cheaper but offers a slightly higher battery capacity, resulting in a greater on-paper range. The EV6 also outperforms the Mustang Mach-E in terms of real-world battery performance. Similar comparisons can be drawn with the Hyundai Ioniq 5, which can be obtained for a significantly lower price—although the base model does come with a smaller battery and a sub-300 mile range.

Full Specs of 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E

Discover the comprehensive specifications of the remarkable 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E.

EV Motor, Power, and Performance

The 2022 Mustang Mach-E offers two battery options: a standard-range 70.0-kWh pack or an extended-range 91.0-kWh pack. These batteries power electric motors positioned on the rear or both axles, providing either rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The GT and GT Performance models boast a combined motor output of 480 horsepower and up to 634 pound-feet of torque, propelling the car from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds. However, our test drive revealed that the GT Performance model didn’t quite meet our expectations.

Fuel Economy and Real-World MPGe

The range-topping Mustang Mach-E, equipped with rear-wheel drive and the extended-range battery, impresses with an EPA-estimated range of 305 miles. Opting for the all-wheel-drive version and the extended battery still provides an impressive estimated driving range of 270 miles. It’s important to note that the range can vary depending on the model and equipment chosen. During our thorough testing regimen, we put the Mach-E with the larger battery to the test on our 75-mph highway fuel economy route, where it delivered an impressive 250-mile range on a single charge. With the increased capacity for 2022, we anticipate an additional real-world highway range of approximately 8 miles.

Interior, Comfort, and Cargo

Ford Mustang mach-E

The battery of the Mustang Mach-E is cleverly positioned beneath the car’s floor, maximizing both cargo and passenger space. The interior of the Mach-E, unlike the regular Mustang, is a departure from the ordinary. Its sleek dashboard showcases an appealing digital gauge cluster, with a stunning vertically mounted touchscreen taking center stage. The center console boasts a nifty floating, flip-up armrest that conveniently accommodates items like purses.

Also, let’s not forget the array of impressive features, including customizable ambient interior lighting, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, wireless charging, a panoramic sunroof, and more. The front trunk is crafted from durable plastics that can easily be rinsed and drained, offering the versatility to store ice and other messy items. With 29 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats, which expands to a whopping 60 cubic feet with the back seats folded, the Mach-E provides ample room for all your needs.

Infotainment and Connectivity

Utilizing machine learning, Ford’s next-generation SYNC infotainment system offers a fully personalized experience for every driver. With support for up to three driver profiles and a guest profile, the system caters to individual preferences effortlessly. The software runs seamlessly in the Mustang Mach-E, showcased on a sleek vertical 15.5-inch touchscreen, providing convenient access to a diverse range of apps and features.

An exceptional advantage of this system is Ford’s commitment to continuous improvement through over-the-air updates, ensuring unparalleled performance and introducing fresh content. Boasting premier elements like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot, and an immersive Bang & Olufsen audio system, this cutting-edge technology redefines the driving experience.

Discover the 2022 Ford Mustang Mach-E, equipped with an extensive range of cutting-edge driver-assistance technology. For detailed crash test results, visit the websites of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). Notable safety features include:

 • Available forward-collision warning and automated emergency braking

Warranty and Maintenance Coverage

Ford’s current limited and powertrain warranty are decent but not exceptional. Additionally, we anticipate an eight-year or 100,000-mile coverage for the Mach-E’s electrical components, although complimentary maintenance is not part of the package.

 • The limited warranty covers three years or 36,000 miles which ever is higher.
 • The powertrain warranty covers five years or 60,000 miles which ever is higher.
 • The Electrical components are covered for eight years or 100,000 miles which ever is higher.

Pro and Cons of 20223 Ford Mustang Mach-E

Pros

 • Spacious, nicely made interior
 • Snazzy infotainment setup
 • Decent range and performance

Cons

 • Ride comfort isn’t so great
 • Boot isn’t as big as other electric SUVs
 • Can’t tow all that much

So, Is the Ford Mustang Mach-E a good car?

The Mustang Mach-E embodies a thrilling fusion of heritage, modernity, and innovation. It seamlessly integrates a legendary 1960s nameplate with a contemporary SUV design, while embracing the latest trend of electrification. With its electrifying powertrain, it ushers in the future of automotive engineering while paying homage to its iconic roots.

Experience the best of both worlds with an electric SUV that combines Mustang’s iconic design elements like its long bonnet and muscular haunches, with the efficiency of EV technology. This all-new electric car offers a compelling alternative to other SUV EVs like the Tesla Model Y, BMW iX3, Kia EV6, Audi Q4 e-tron, and Skoda Enyaq.

With the increasing concern for air pollution and the need to reduce carbon emissions, more and more people are turning towards electric cars in India. However, one major barrier to the widespread adoption of EVs in India has been their high cost.

Rise of Electric Cars in India by 2024

In this document, we will explore how the rise of electric cars in India has been impacted by the affordability factor, focusing particularly on electric cars in India under 10 lakhs and electric cars in India under 5 lakhs too.

Electric vehicles (EVs) are significantly more efficient than internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles, consuming less energy and resulting in reduced fuel expenses for drivers. Moreover, EVs boast lower maintenance costs due to their simplicity and reduced likelihood of breakdowns, attributed to their fewer moving parts when compared to ICE vehicles. Here are the detailed factors responsible for the rise of EV cars in India.

1. Affordability as a Roadblock

One of the main reasons for the slow growth of EV sales in India is their high price. The lack of government subsidies and incentives, compared to other countries like China and Norway, has made EVs more expensive in India. Additionally, the production costs of EVs are still higher than those of traditional fuel-powered cars.

Affordable Electric Cars

However, with increasing competition in the market and developments in technology, we are now seeing a rise in affordable EV models in India. Companies like Tata Motors, Mahindra Electric, and MG Motors have introduced electric cars in India under 10 lakhs.

One such popular electric car is the Tata Tiago EV.

tata tiago ev
tata tiago ev

The Tata Tiago EV boasts an advanced permanent magnet synchronous motor, available in two battery pack options: 19.2kWh and 24kWh. The 19.2kWh pack offers an impressive range of 250km based on the Modified Indian Driving Cycle (MIDC), while the 24kWh pack extends that range to an estimated 315km. With a power output of 74bhp and torque of 114Nm, the Tata Tiago EV accelerates from zero to 60kmph in a swift 5.7 seconds.

Price of Tata Tiago EV

Tata Motors unveiled the Tiago EV, their most affordable electric vehicle, in India in September 2022. The electric hatchback is competitively priced between Rs 8.69 and Rs 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India). It offers four variants to choose from: XE, XT, XZ+, and XZ+ Tech LUX.

Another affordable option is the MG Comet EV. The price of the MG Comet EV starts at Rs. 7.98 Lakh and goes up to Rs. 9.98 Lakh for the top model. It is available in three variants, with the base model being the Pace and the top model being the MG Comet EV Plush.

2. Impact on the Market

The introduction of these affordable EV models has had a significant impact on the electric car market in India. In 2020, despite the overall decline in auto sales due to the COVID-19 pandemic, sales of electric cars in India saw a significant increase of 20%, with more than 11,000 units sold. It has been more than 3 years since COVID and India has seen significant growth in the sales of EV cars. Also, many states in India are providing subsidies for electric cars.

Moreover, the Indian government has also taken steps to promote the adoption of EVs by announcing various measures like tax exemptions and incentives for both buyers and manufacturers. This has further boosted the demand for affordable EVs in the country.

3. Future Outlook

With more companies investing in the development of affordable EV models and government initiatives to promote their adoption, we can expect a significant rise in the number of electric cars on Indian roads. This will not only help reduce air pollution and carbon emissions but also make EVs a viable option for budget-conscious buyers.

Final Words

In conclusion, while affordability has been a major roadblock in the rise of electric cars in India, the introduction of affordable EV models and government support have paved the way for a more sustainable future. As technology continues to advance and costs decrease, we can hope to see a rapid increase in the adoption of electric cars in India in the years to come. So, if you are considering buying an EV in India, rest assured that there are now many affordable options available for electric cars in India under 5 lakhs. So, take the first step towards a greener future and join the growing community of EV owners in India!

Even after nine model years, the 2024 XC90 retains its position as one of the most stylish mid-size luxury SUVs available in the market.

Highlights

 • Best: Still looks great after all these years, rich interior, multiple powertrain options.
 • LOWS: The third row feels cramped, and the infotainment system is average at best. Additional options can quickly increase the overall cost.

Overview

The XC90’s cabin embodies the same principle, boasting a sleek and contemporary interior design complemented by luxurious material selections. With its comfortable seats and generous space, the Volvo offers a delightful setting to enjoy long journeys. Nevertheless, it’s worth noting that the third row may feel a bit snug for full-size passengers, who may prefer alternative seating arrangements. Additionally, the XC90 offers three powertrain options, ranging from the entry-level B5 variant with 247 horsepower to the plug-in hybrid Recharge model, which delivers an impressive 455 ponies. Notably, the Recharge variant also allows for up to 36 miles of electric-only driving range.

While XC90 does have its flaws, such as a small dashboard display screen and cumbersome touchscreen controls for the infotainment system, its strengths far outweigh its weaknesses. While it may not outshine heavy hitters like the Porsche Cayenne, BMW X5, Genesis GV80, and Mercedes-Benz GLE class in its segment, the 2024 Volvo XC90 still deserves consideration for your mid-size luxury SUV shortlist.

The Volvo XC90 sets itself apart from the typical Audi Q7, BMW X5, or Mercedes-Benz GLE, and that’s precisely its charm. Noteworthy features include advanced technology and a sleek cabin design that exudes style. Moreover, the available plug-in hybrid powertrain offers a substantial all-electric range. All things considered, the XC90 presents itself as a compelling alternative to its German counterparts.

 • Elegant interior styling
 • Helpful Google-based technology features
 • Experience strong acceleration and remarkable fuel economy with the available plug-in hybrid powertrain.

Cons

 • Some touchscreen controls can be hard to use
 • Third-row seats are tight for adults

What’s new

 • No major changes expected
 • Part of the second XC90 generation introduced for 2016

Efficiency and safety

The Volvo XC90 stands out among other midsize luxury SUVs with its inclusion of a plug-in hybrid model. When fully charged, you can expect an impressive 32 miles of electric-only driving, and even after depletion, you’ll still enjoy an outstanding 27 mpg from its hybrid powertrain. Not only does the XC90 offer fuel savings and a greener footprint, but it also boasts an extensive range of advanced safety features. Additionally, it has received excellent crash test results, earning a prestigious Top Safety Pick+ rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.

Competitors to consider

While the XC90 boasts efficiency and a safety-focused approach, it may require a redesign to remain competitive against newer rivals. In terms of driving dynamics and ride comfort, both the Audi Q7 and Acura MDX offer a more enjoyable experience. Although all these SUVs have limited third-row passenger space, the MDX gains an advantage with its larger cargo capacity. For those with a preference for luxury, the Mercedes GLE proves to be an excellent option. Our Expert Rating highlights where the XC90 excels and where it falls short.

Engine, Transmission, and Performance

Even the B5 and B6 powertrains are assisted by a 48-volt electric motor. The B5 models boast a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, delivering a respectable 247 horsepower. Stepping up to the B6 powertrain, available on the Plus and standard on the Ultimate trim levels, ramps up the output to an impressive 295 horsepower. Topping the range is the XC90 Recharge, a plug-in hybrid powerhouse boasting a staggering 455 horsepower. Every XC90, regardless of trim level or powertrain, comes equipped with all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission. During our test, the Recharge sprinted from 0 to 60 mph in an impressive 4.5 seconds. While the Volvo XC90 exhibits noticeable body lean when tackling curves, its steering response is precise and the wheel strikes a balance between feather-light and heavy-handed. Our test car was equipped with the optional air suspension, providing a smooth and insulated ride, handling most road situations admirably. However, there were some instances of minor road imperfections leading to slight chassis clattering, one of the few grievances we have with an otherwise elegant XC90.

Fuel Economy and Real-World MPG

With the exception of its plug-in powertrain, the XC90 achieves fuel-efficiency ratings similar to those of its six-cylinder competitors. Last year, the 247-hp B5 powertrain earned an EPA-estimated 22 mpg city and 28 mpg highway, while XC90s with the 295-hp B6 powertrain returned ratings of 20 mpg city and 26 mpg highway. The XC90 Recharge received an impressive EPA-rated 66 MPGe and can run on battery power for up to 36 miles, as stated by the EPA. However, in our real-world highway fuel economy test at 75 mph, the XC90 Recharge fell slightly short of its EPA rating, achieving only 58 MPGe and traveling 29 miles on battery power. For more detailed information on the XC90’s fuel economy, please refer to the EPA’s website.

Interior, Comfort, and Cargo

Volvo XC90 Interior
Volvo XC90 Interior

The interior of the Volvo XC90 is a true work of art, boasting a captivating design and premium materials. It’s a shame there aren’t more vehicles like this one. However, it’s worth mentioning that the third row may not provide optimal comfort for adults, especially on long journeys. On the bright side, the XC90’s wide and boxy silhouette makes it an excellent choice for hauling cargo. Although, it’s worth noting that the interior compartments are not as spacious as some of its competitors.

Infotainment and Connectivity

The XC90 boasts a sleek 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, resembling a tablet, as a standard feature. With Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability across all models and the option for a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot, it offers advanced connectivity. However, its functionality could be notably enhanced with additional redundant hard buttons and more intuitive on-screen controls.

Warranty and Maintenance Coverage

Compared to its competitors, the warranty plan offered by the XC90 is fairly average.. However, Volvo outdoes them by offering excellent complimentary scheduled maintenance.

 • The limited warranty covers four years or 50,000 miles
 • The powertrain warranty covers four years or 50,000 miles
 • Electrical components are covered for eight years or 100,000
 • Complimentary maintenance is covered for three years or 36,000 miles
